Never doubt, after the food travel in the first blog post that mentioned, we realize that food is EVERYTHING. As a human being, a lot of dollar is rather to spend for FOOD! FOOD OWNED!

So, this time we gonna stop at IPOH~ 

As same as previous trip, we will search for that lovely HALAL food that can be consumed

by any races. A few turns in the route of Ipoh, we found this shop! That is it!

Hainan Chicken Rice

 The long waited day for this food searching. Our stomachs were ready to work again. 

We drove to Ipoh to start our food hunting and we finally found it! 

The IPOH Hainan Chicken Rice shop, which have a cool shop signboard and it also show that the shop is HALAL. Its shop has outlet with cleaner and presentable facade to offer for malay community in Ipoh~~

❡Bean sprout ❡of Hainan Chicken - A MUST! :)

The side dishes of the Hainan Chicken Rice was the Bean sprout. It is crunchy and blanched to the right texture and add lightly seasoned with pepper and dash of soy sauce. then the garnished is make with chopped scallion and red chilies.

Butter Rice

With the name call Butter Rice in the menu, this rice is made up of chicken oil include the stock from the roasted chicken or the steamed chicken and used less ginger.

This is the full set of Hainan Chicken, how adorable!

Since from don't know which 'century', Hainan Chicken is always served with bean sprout which mixed with soy sauce. The IPOH Hainan Chicken Rice shop which we visited mix it perfectly, the salinity of the dishes is easier to be accepted by customers.  

Now for the important part! THE CHICKEN! The main character is always served at last!

Yesh! the Hainan chicken is really tasty which the flesh melts in your mouth after you chew it.

We do really enjoy the moment and finish all in a few minutes time. =)

Kacang Soya Lai Kee, a familiar shop name which you can see around the Ipoh city.

Under the big SUN, our sight can't even remove from this shop due to the thirsty =P

Dessert here we come!! xD

At the moment human being thirsty, mostly we will think about ice right?  

But not for us!

The smooth feeling that we could swallow into stomach is what we were asking for xP

We recommend the Soy Custard or bean-made drinks which is located at "LAI KEI SOYA".

The shop has three branches which are Jelapang, Mengembu and Ipoh Jaya!!

The most important part is that soy custard is Gypsum Powder FREE which almost everyone used it to make soy's products tastier.However, Lai Kee Soya never ever used Gypsum Powder because they want to produce a healthier soy custard to their consumer.

As the board mentioned, there is a few flavors that we can choose, such as brown sugar, white sugar and ginger sugar, yum yum  =P

No matter what flavor chosen, it only cost RM 0.90 per bowl.

That's not all parts of it! If you don't have appetite, you can order Soya Bean Drink as well~

if you not really hungry for the dinner then the good way is to wind down the day with snacks.

The shop is inside the part of Restaurant San Kam Wan which is a long food court ~~~

This stall has been opened for almost 20 years.

This stall opens every day except when the food court is closed!

The tastes and the perfect size of popiah has almost worth for the each price of popiah which is sold RM1.80~~

Since this stall has started from 20 years ago,it must be contained secret crispy ingredient. 

Some of the ingredients include fried shallot, fried shrimps, crushed peanuts, carrot strips, cucumber strips, sweet and spicy sauce for customer choose. Then has braised turnips with french beans slices and omelets strips.

At the moment we put the popiah in our mouth, we felt the wrapper was sticking to our tongue and filling spill inside our mouth when started to chew~

The juices of the vegetables crunchiness of the secret ingredients with fried shrimps combine together producing unique sensation!!

It is located inside the Restaurant San Kam Wan which is opposite to Woolly Food Court, Ipoh Garden!!!

It also situated behind shell petrol station along Jalan Dato Lau Pak Khuan
